The Company is in the process implementing a refinery project at Haldia, West Bengal, India with a capacity of 200,000 BPSD (Approx. 10 MMTPA). The project involves relocation of CENCO refinery from U.S.A., ATAS refinery from Turkey and a number of new equipments including Benzene Extraction Unit and Propylene Recovery Unit.

The resulting configuration with combination of all the refineries along with addition of a number of new equipments for value added products will make the project one of the "Complex" refineries in Asia. The refinery will have the capability to process Arab Heavy and Arab Medium Crude mix of 50:50. The refinery will be configured to produce Euro III/Euro IV quality fuel and will also have Propylene and Benzene units.

The estimated Cost of the Project is around Rs. 12,000 Crores. The project will be implemented over a period of 42 months from the award of EPCC Contract with the part of the facility going on stream in 24 months.
